Arabesque Coaster Crochet Pattern

A good friend of mine asked me to make some coasters to match her Denby Arabesque stoneware collection, so I had a play around and came up with this flower in a circle in the colours to match.

This pattern has a step by step guide with photos for making the coaster. It specifies the colours I've used, but of course you can use any colours you choose - it's a great stash buster!

The yarn used is Yarnsmiths Create DK, available from Wool Warehouse. This is my go to yarn as it's soft and squishy and so easy to work with. It comes in such a lovely array of 200 gorgeous colours, in 100g balls, is 100% acrylic and has a very good price point. Yarnsmiths also have the same full range of colors in their Merino yarn, so can easily be substituted for a touch of luxury. The merino is available in 50g balls so double the quantity would be required.
